Hello,  My name is  Heather.  I  been  making things since  before I can remember.  I love working with my hand and designing beautiful  handmade piece of art that I  can  bring to you and your family.   I have a  Master of Fine Art and as an art  student I got to experience different mediums.  Even though jewelry and metals is my main focus  I am not limited to the possibilities to the other materials out there.  Making  unique  jewelry allows me to  create a voice that of who I am.  My passion is creating organic designed jewelry that has a life of its own. 
 

Blue Moon Gifts started  back in 2005 and has slowly continued to  grow.    My husband Matthew and my very good friend Ree  have been there along the way  helping  and inspiring me with the business.  Blue moon  means an extra full moon that appears in a subdivision of a year, either the third of four full moons in a season or, recently, a second full moon in a month of the common calendar. Metaphorically, a "blue moon" is a rare event, as in the expression "once in a blue moon".    The rare and unique hand crafted jewelry that is my passion and the excitement that I get when someone receives  the very special piece. Currently striving to make this my full time job, which by no means is a easy task.  I would love to do a custom order for you!  Is there another creation you'd like to see?
